Business gold Pichwai lotus
One open lotus with a bud on either side and two round leaves, laid in matte gold leaf with fine dark outlines in the manner of a Nathdwara Pichwai, alone on a dark teal cloth ground. It is calm and rich at once, which suits jewellers, sari and fashion houses, hotels and any business that wants a quiet, luxurious greeting.
Use this design
Making it yours
Under the lotus the teal ground is open for more than half of the card's height. Your logo comes first, then each customer's name in a greeting pack, the title, a short thank-you, one offer line and your business name. Gold foil sets the text in the gold of the lotus, Ivory white reads best for long names and messages, and Gold pairs a gold title with ivory lines. The header symbol is off by default. The Elegant style is the default; Modern gives a cleaner, corporate look.
About the craft: Pichwai
Nathdwara's Pichwai painters often lay real gold leaf on their cloths. The gold is beaten paper-thin, pressed onto a prepared area of the painting and then outlined and veined with a fine brush, so that it catches the lamp light during the evening darshan of Shrinathji. The lotus, the flower of his pond and of Lakshmi, is among the motifs most often gilded. This design paints one such lotus, with two buds and two round leaves, in matte gold alone on a dark teal ground.
