Gold foil rangoli
A round rangoli medallion in gold-foil line art on deep peacock teal: a lotus at the centre, rings of dots and petals, and small diyas set all the way round, with gold dots scattered beyond the edge. The rest of the card is plain teal. Rangoli is how a building's compound dresses up for Diwali, so this suits a society celebration, a cultural evening or a rangoli competition.

Making it yours
Below the medallion the teal is clear for about half the card's height, room for the committee's name, the programme, the date and time, the venue in the compound and an RSVP line. Gold foil keeps every line in the gold of the rangoli; Ivory white stands out best in a busy WhatsApp group; Gold puts a gold title over ivory details. The card opens in the Elegant style, with its script title and spaced capitals, and without a header symbol; a committee that wants one can add a Diya or Ganesh.
About the craft: Rangoli
Through Diwali, rangoli is drawn on the floor at the entrance and in the courtyard, with coloured powder, rice flour or flower petals, to welcome guests and Lakshmi. Many designs are round medallions built out from the centre: a lotus in the middle, then rings of petals, dots and small lamps, so that the pattern looks balanced from every side. Housing societies often hold a rangoli competition in the compound. This design draws one such medallion in fine gold lines, with a ring of diyas round a lotus.
