Kolam society Diwali
A terracotta floor with white kolam loops, lotuses and diyas across the top, and kolam motifs with a row of clay lamps along the bottom. Its warm, open look suits a notice to every resident: the programme, date, time and venue fit in the plain middle.

That middle is the bare earth floor between the two kolam bands, just under half the card's height, and the text sits centred in it under a small diya. Ivory white reads like the rice-flour lines; Gold is a warmer second choice. For a society notice, leave the photo off and let the title and the programme carry it.
About the craft: Kolam
A kolam is drawn at the doorstep in the early morning, mostly in Tamil Nadu and across South India, with rice flour let fall between the fingers. Many kolams start from a grid of dots and loop continuous lines around them, and during festivals they grow larger and more detailed. This design draws kolam lines, lotuses and lamps in white on a terracotta floor, a good fit for a whole society celebrating together.
