Gold foil Ganesh
Ganesh in fine gold-foil lines on deep emerald, seated on an open lotus. His four hands hold an axe, a lotus bud and a bowl of modaks, and the fourth is raised in blessing; small gold dots are scattered around him. The green and gold feel calm and auspicious: a fitting Diwali greeting for elders, relatives and anyone who begins the festival with Ganesh.

Making it yours
The greeting sits on the plain green below the lotus, about half the card's height, with room for a wish, a short message and your family's name as the sign-off. Text colours are Gold foil, Ivory white and Gold. Because Ganesh himself is on the card, the header symbol starts empty rather than repeating his name. The Elegant style gives the greeting a flowing script title; Traditional suits a more formal wish.
About the craft: Ganesh line drawing
Ganesh is worshipped first, before any new beginning, as the one who removes obstacles, which is why so many family invitations open with his name or his image. At Diwali he is worshipped together with Lakshmi, and traders open their new account books with Shree Ganeshaya Namah. Line drawings of him follow the forms of temple images: four arms holding an axe, a lotus and a bowl of modaks, the fourth raised in blessing. This design draws him that way in fine gold lines, seated on a lotus.
