Lakshmi footprints and lotus
In a watercolour style on warm white paper, red footprints with dotted outlines step up towards a pink lotus resting on two round green leaves, as if Lakshmi were walking into the home. Lotus buds frame the four corners. The status card has two pairs of footprints under the lotus, the square post a short trail of four. It suits a Lakshmi Puja at home, especially one with guests in the evening.

Making it yours
Your invitation fills the paper below the footprints, close to half the card's height, between the corner buds. Kumkum red matches the footprints, Maroon is deeper and more formal, and Leaf green picks up the lotus leaves. The Elegant style sets the title in a flowing hand, and the Shree Lakshmi line heads the card by default; a round family photo can sit above the title.
About the craft: Lakshmi's footprints
Lakshmi's footprints are drawn at the doorway on the days she is worshipped, stepping into the house, so that she comes in and stays. Bengal draws them in rice-paste alpana and Odisha in white jhoti; in Maharashtra they are part of the Diwali rangoli, and in Gujarat they are pressed in red kumkum. The toes always point inward, towards the place of worship. This design paints them in alta red with dotted edges, walking up to a pink lotus, the flower Lakshmi sits on.
