Lippan Nutan Varsh
A terracotta-maroon mud wall with a raised white clay border of diamonds, birds, lotuses and diyas, set with small round mirrors, the way Kutchi homes are decorated. It suits a new-year wish to elders and relatives.

Making it yours
The smooth wall inside the relief border holds the text, close to three-fifths of the card's height. It comes in Ivory white or Gold, like the clay and the mirrors around it, and an Om sits at the top by default. A family photo in its round frame suits a wish sent from the whole household.
About the craft: Lippan kaam
Lippan kaam is the mud and mirror relief work of Kutch in Gujarat. Women shape raised patterns on the walls of their homes from clay mixed with dung and press small mirrors into them, so the walls catch the light of a lamp. This design follows that relief style: white clay patterns, birds and diyas set with round mirrors on a terracotta wall.
